Marvel at the contrasts between the rugged mountains and placid bay on this stunning drive to Njegusi village, perched at 3,600 feet above sea level. Pause to snap some photos after rounding the 25th hairpin bend along the route.
You'll continue around to the other side of the mountain to take in the scenery of the upper village before reaching the town of Cetinje, the former royal capital of Montenegro. A brief guided tour here leads you to the King Nicolas Museum, in addition to some free time to explore the Old Town.
Catch distant glimpses of Budva on the drive back to the pier.
Please note: Tour requires approximately 1.5 hours of walking. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Terrain includes paved surfaces, inclines and cobblestones, with several steps. The cobblestones can be slippery. There are 30 steps at the King Nicolas Museum. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. The mountain drive takes in 25 hairpin bends. Guests prone to motion sickness or vertigo should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication.
