Boarding your motor coach at the pier, venture into the city of Belfast for a panoramic sightseeing drive to view its well-known features -- City Hall, Queens University, the Ulster Museum, the Botanic Gardens and Albert Clock. Dominating the Belfast skyline are the two giant cranes of the Harland and Wolff Shipyards, affectionately called Samson and Goliath. As you marvel at their impressive size, you might also remember the sinking of Titanic, since it was in these very shipyards that the ill-fated ship was built.
Your sightseeing adventure continues as you enjoy a look at the political wall murals located on the Protestant Shankill Road and the Catholic Falls Road. You will also enjoy a photo stop at Stormont -- the seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly -- before making your way to today's main attraction.
No visit to Belfast would be complete without a visit to one of its historic and famous pubs. The hospitality of Belfast and its people is legendary and there is no better way to enjoy a craic than in a pub over a drink. Savor the atmosphere of the pub before returning to the pier and your ship.
Please note: Suitable for guests using a wheelchair with a companion to assist. Participants must be able to (dis)embark the motor coach unassisted. Dress in warm, layered clothing and wear flat, comfortable shoes. Bring raingear in case of inclement weather. Tour does not operate on Sundays or public holidays.
