hillsborough castle with prosecco and the enchanting sounds of the local bugler. delight in discovering
the local residence of the british royal family and visiting dignitaries. president george w. bush and
prime minister tony blair met at hillsborough castle in 2003. a guided tour of the castle will acquaint
you with the family history of the marquis of downshire. hear about the castle's role in more recent
northern ireland history, and view many interesting pieces of furniture and works of art.
afterwards, stroll through the gardens and visit a local pub for a refreshment. free time allowed to
explore the beautiful village of hillsborough.
