Welcome to Øvre-Eide Farm, nestled in historical surroundings only five minutes from central Bergen. This family-run farm, with roots and buildings back to 1540, accommodates guests from all over the world. In this historic place immersed in Nordic nature, family and staff are delighted to welcome you to discover the day-by-day life of a traditional farm.
Experience the beautiful land and check in with the animals. Learn the art of baking lefse – a traditional Norwegian pastry. You'll learn all about the history and folklore of lefse, and learn how to bake it on a special iron block.
While baking, enjoy coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juice and almond cakes made by the farm's own pastry chef.
When you leave, take all the treats you made with you to savor at your leisure. Will you have any left after the coach ride back to the ship? Doubtful…
