Enjoy an excursion through the romantic countryside of Normandy and take time to learn more about French rural gastronomy.
Drive to Sotteville to visit the Théo Capelle cider-house. This experience will open the door to the world of Norman beverages -- cider, Pommeau and Calvados -- all lovingly distilled by discerning craftsmen through the ages. See the installations, presses, fermenting room and ageing cellar before being invited to sample the produce at the tasting room. Delight in the perfection of the different aperitifs, many of which are available for purchase at the gift shop.
Proceed next to Saint Vaast la Hougue, located on the coast of the Val de Saire. St Vaast is a pleasant harbor that is quite famous for its oysters. Spend some free time in this popular seaside resort; stroll along the quays, enjoy the local shopping, or admire the 17th-century fortifications that protect the port.
Please note: Tour does not operate on Sundays. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
