On a panoramic drive you will pass through the city of Dublin, en route to Guinness, you will see the Old Parliament House, which is now the Bank of Ireland. You will also see Trinity College, founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I.
Visit the Guinness Storehouse, located in the heart of the Guinness Brewery in Dublin city, for a self-guided tour. As you make your way through the Storehouse Museum, you'll come to understand the dramatic Guinness story, which began more than 250 years ago. It's often surprising and always entertaining. Discover what goes into making the 'black stuff' -- the ingredients, the process, the passion. You'll 'meet' Arthur Guinness and find out how the drink that carries his name has traveled around the world. You will also have the opportunity to spend some time in the Advertising Gallery in the Storehouse, where you will find a display of all Guinness advertising material past and present.
At the end of the tour, it's your turn to become an expert as you indulge in a private Connoisseur Experience. You'll learn how to pull the perfect pint -- the best way to hold the glass, how to
control the speed the beer enters the glass, the time required for the pint to settle, and the final touch that gives the pint a creamy head. You will also participate in an exclusive tasting session in Guinness's luxurious private Connoisseur Bar as the expert staff teach you all about the characteristics of this famous brand and delve deep into the heart of the black stuff. Then, sit back, relax and enjoy the Guinness and the view.
Don't miss shopping for souvenirs in the extensive Guinness merchandise store. Return to the port of Dún Laoghaire, passing the International Financial Services Centre en route.
