Exciting, exhilarating, memorable -- welcome to Expedition Experiences by Seabourn. Zodiac, kayaking or hiking activities enable you to experience the wonders of nature up close; in-depth cultural, ethnographic and archaeological discoveries connect you to the human and natural history of Seabourn's world. Each Expedition is expertly planned, professionally operated, and escorted by skilled expedition staff.
Join the Expedition Team and travel by Zodiac to explore the Fishguard Cliffs. Weather conditions permitting, you will venture out of the bay along the shoreline and past the cliff faces that form the coastline of Pembrokeshire -- a rugged area with inlets, overhangs and caves. Keep an eye out for very curious Atlantic grey seals, who enjoy watching you watching them. The area is home to about 5,000 of these gentle creatures. The cliffs and shoreline are home to a number of bird species, including guillemots, terns, kittiwakes, fulmars and oystercatchers.
Please note: Tour departs from and returns to the ship. It is essential that you wear warm, layered clothing in order to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion. Outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. Bring gloves, a warm hat and a scarf. Bring binoculars. Wear sunglasses and biodegradable sunscreen; bring insect repellent. Bring a waterproof bag for your devices. There are steps to negotiate when (dis)embarking the Zodiac, with assistance offered. Tour generally operates rain or shine but may be canceled in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. Minimum age is 6 years.
