Enjoy fish tasting at Gothenburg’s iconic Fish Market Hall.
Since 1874, Feskekörka (the fish church) has been a destination both for those who love seafood and for those who want to experience one of Gothenburg’s most iconic buildings. This fish market gets its name from its architectural style with pointed arched windows and construction without partitions or pillars – it simply looks like a church, in Gothenburg “kôrka”. After a few years of renovation, Feskekörka has finally reopened, and it is now a food hall with delicacies from the sea, several different fish counters and brand-new restaurants and bars with national and international guest performances in the kitchens.
Start your tour by boarding you coach for a short panoramic ride to the Gustav Adolf’s square. From there, take a walk towards Avenyn, famous boulevard, see the Stora Teaters (The Great Theatre) and continue through Kungsparken (King’s Park) towards Feskekörka, located in the exciting Vallgraven neighborhood.
During the fish tasting, enjoy three different canapes – one with herring, one with salmon and one with prawn mayonnaise together with a glass of beer and a short presentation about the fish. After the tasting, the coach will pick you up and take you back to the pier.
Please note:
