Royal Botanic Garden Kew is a world heritage site located on 121 hectares of stunning vistas, complete with 6 magnificent glass houses. The site is set on a beautiful landscape beside the River Thames between Richmond and Kew in south-west London. This once royal residence represents nearly 250 years of historical gardens and is home to a remarkable collection of over 30,000 types of plants from all over the world that range from the beautiful to the peculiar.
Departing from Greenwich, relax for the drive to the Kew gardens as you travel by comfortable motorcoach. En route, pass many famous London landmarks while your guide provides you with interesting commentary on the sites all around you. Upon arrival, meet your experienced Kew guide for a one-hour tour of the gardens. Your tour will take in the highlights of the season, explore the exotic plants in the glass houses and explain the history and work of this place.
Kew is a fascinating place to explore, and following your guided tour enjoy some free time to enjoy the site at your leisure. Please note: Guests should have flights after 17:30. There will be 3 hours of walking, which will be a mixture of flat concrete paths, grass areas and a wood chip path.
