Sightseeing meets the Beatles! Get acquainted with Hamburg through the eyes of the Beatles, who made this German city their second home. In fact, John Lennon famously said, "I was born in Liverpool, but I grew up in Hamburg."
A walking tour allows you to discover the original scenes of the Beatles' career. As you go, you'll hear funny anecdotes, well-kept secrets, and entertaining songs played by your guide.
A journey from the past to the present awaits you. Visit clubs where the Beatles played and the places they stayed. What did they experience, how did they dress, who did they meet? All is revealed on this mesmerizing introduction to Hamburg. A highlight of your tour is a closing concert by your guide who is a singer and songwriter in his/her own right. This will take place at one of the pubs at which the Beatles used to play, and you'll enjoy a beer as you relax on this trip down memory lane.
Please note: Tour requires approximately three hours of easy-to-moderate walking. There are a few steps to negotiate as well as uneven and cobblestone streets in the city center. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. The coach for the short transfer is equipped with seat belts; guests are required to use them. Tour operates rain or shine, but may be cancelled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. Bring rain gear.
