Leaving the harbor on a panoramic motorcoach drive through Helsinki, you will pass Market Square, the Uspenski Cathedral and the Presidential Palace before stopping at Senate Square. Watch for the Opera House, Olympic Stadium, Finlandia Hall, the National Museum, Parliament House and the Contemporary Art Museum.
You'll head out of the city towards Porvoo -- the second-oldest town in Finland, dating back to 1346. Snap some photos at the Old Bridge of Porvoo, offering lovely views of the town. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through some of the cobblestone streets. The charming Old Town area is packed with wooden buildings. You will have some free time to explore on your own before following your guide along the Porvoo River Boulevard.
Board a sightseeing boat for a guided cruise along the Porvoo River and through part of the Gulf of Finland archipelago. You have time to take in the views of the natural beauty of the Finnish countryside.
The approximately 30-minute cruise ends at Haikko Manor, where lunch is served.
Please note: There are cobblestones at Senate Square, and cobblestones and steps to negotiate in Porvoo. You must climb steps to board the sightseeing boat. Tour is available only on select sailings.
