Leave Helsinki for a panoramic drive through the beautiful Finnish countryside.
In just over an hour you will arrive in Fiskars -- a flourishing ironworks village with a colorful history. Fiskars is best known for jewelry, ceramics, woodcrafts and distilleries.
Stop briefly at the information center, then walk with your guide to a glass studio. The host will entertain you with a glass-blowing presentation.
Visit the new visitor center Veitsitehdas where you will get to know the secrets of the brewery, the distillery, and the winery. Veitsitehdas brings together all the beverage producers in the area in a historic building where world-known Fiskars knives and scissors were manufactured until 2001. During the tasting, you will hear about the secrets of drink production, taste locally produced beer, wine, and long drink paired with savory snacks.
Enjoy a traditional family-style shared lunch at a cozy village restaurant.
Take time to browse in some of the artisan shops before returning to Helsinki.
Please note: Tour does not operate in September. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
