The best way to explore Karlskrona's world heritage is from the sea, to which the city is closely linked due to its ancient naval history. In the company of an English-speaking guide, enjoy a short walk through the beautiful city centre to the kayak base. After a safety briefing, board your kayak and enjoy an adventure surrounded by Swedish nature. Following your guide, you will enjoy some exercise paddling on a route around some of the 33 islands that make up the World Heritage site of Karlskrona. Brändaholm, Sweden's most famous allotment garden area, the Ljungskär gunpowder house and the old fish market are some of the attractions you will see on the itinerary.
Please note: Minimum age is 10 years. Maximum weight is 220 lbs. This tour is unsuitable for guests with back, neck or mobility problems. Prior experience not required; beginners are welcome. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Bring a towel and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen.
