Travel by minibus with your guide to Finstown for an insight to the creativity and crafting in the beautiful surroundings of Shorelines Studio with its views across the Bay of Firth. Local artist Rosalind will guid you through this fabric art workshop and will teach you how to create a unique wall hanging using art techniques. You’ll learn about selecting fabrics, cutting and arranging shapes, and stitching them together. Rosalind will provide step-by-step instructions, ensuring that both beginners to the more experienced crafters will feel comfortable throughout the process.
Draw inspiration from the unique beauty of Orkney- it's the rugged coastlines, ancient monuments, or the vibrant local culture. The lesson is designed to help you create a piece that captures the essence of your Orkney experience.
Enjoy a tea or coffee and soft drinks. There will also be free time after the session to explore the onsite give shop.
