Set out on a scenic drive along lovely Nordfjord toward the villages of Loen and Stryn, en route to Geirangerfjord.
Follow the river to beautiful Stryn Lake with its turquoise water flowing from the nearby glacier-covered mountains. Then, your coach continues along the road that leads to the summit of Mount Dalsnibba, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the majestic mountains and glaciers. Weather permitting, you may be afforded a fabulous view over the Geiranger Valley and its fjord.
Stop for photos at Flydal Gorge before enjoying a Norwegian buffet lunch at the Union Hotel.
One of the today's highlights is an hour-long ferry ride on Geirangerfjord, past several spectacular waterfalls including the Seven Sisters, the Suitor and the Bridal Veil.
From the village of Hellesylt, continue to Hornindal Lake -- the deepest lake in northern Europe. Skirt the crystal-clear waters and cross wooded hills to Nordfjord, where you will stop again to marvel at the beauty of this area before returning to Loen.
Please note: Wear sturdy walking shoes with non-skid soles. It is essential that you wear warm, layered clothing in order to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion. Outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. Bring gloves, a warm hat and a scarf. Suitable for guests using a wheelchair.
