Belle Ile stands as the largest among the Breton islands, boasting a rugged coastline adorned with cliffs, inlets, and sandy shores. Its northern side slopes gently, while its southern face confronts the untamed expanse of the open sea.
At the heart of the island lies Le Palais, its capital, where a star-shaped citadel, originally constructed in the 16th century and later acquired by Fouquet and expanded by Vauban, commands attention.
Embark from the pier and journey toward Port Jean. Led by your guide, embark on a scenic hike along the untamed shoreline, passing through "Port Jean," "Port Quénenec," and the "Pointe de Taillefer."
Along the way, marvel at the secluded coves and the turquoise waters. After your hike, return to the pier at Le Palais, completing a memorable exploration of this captivating island.
Please note: Guests must be in good physical condition. Hike lasts around 2¼ hours over rough and uneven terrain.
