Anfield was built in the 19th century and today, the modern, hi-tech, stadium which can accommodate over 61,000 spectators due to the recent expansion of Anfield Rd and is one of the largest football stadiums in England.
Gain an insight in to the Club’s history and success as you go behind the scenes during an interactive and immersive Stadium Tour. Multimedia audio handsets are provided to give full and detailed information as you explore the ground at your own pace. There will also be knowledgeable tour guides at hand to answer questions.
Begin your tour at the highest level of the Main Stand and enjoy stunning views of the pitch and the city skyline. Experience how the stadium comes alive on matchdays and see where the players prepare for the big game in the new state-of-the-art Home Team Dressing Room. Touch the This is Anfield sign before walking down the new Player’s Tunnel to the sound of the Anfield roar.
After your tour, visit the recently relaunched LFC Museum, which retells the club’s story in a brand-new immersive way. As you walk through the interactive displays, you will travel through time starting with ‘where it all began’. See all major trophies together, plus all six European trophies and view the tribute to Jürgen Klopp and hologram, alongside other iconic memorabilia from the former boss. Pause for a photograph at the Bill Shankly statue.
