Relax on a short sightseeing drive through the town of Mariehamn, founded in 1865 by the reigning Russian Tsar, passing the outdoor museum of Jan Karlsgården and the Ruins of Kastelholm castle.
Arriving at the Stallhagen Pub and Brewery you will be welcomed by the local host. Stallhagen beer is a locally produced slow beer, using the local fresh near produce. Stallhagen has received several awards for being a first class quality beer.
The restored building was originally built as a barracks building for the Åland stationed Russian coastal artillery in the early last century. On a short tour of the brewery, learn about production, methods, traditions, and trends in beer brewing.
Enjoy a beer tasting accompanied with a sampling of small savory local specialties. Following your visit continue on the scenic drive through the countryside before returning to the pier.
