Step into the heart of the “Queen of the Glens” and discover the enchanting beauty of Glenariff Forest Park, a natural haven spanning over 1,100 hectares. This majestic park is home to some of Northern Ireland’s most breathtaking scenery, and the Glenariff Waterfalls Walk is its crown jewel.
Your journey follows a well-marked trail through a lush, forested river gorge, where the soothing sound of cascading water accompanies you at every turn. Along the way, marvel at spectacular waterfalls, vibrant greenery, and peaceful woodland—a setting that offers both invigorating adventure and serene escape.
The trail includes steep descents, steps, and some slippery sections near the falls, so sturdy footwear is essential. While the walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or visitors with limited mobility, alternative routes are available for those seeking gentler terrain.
After completing the walk, relax at the Glenariff Forest Park Tea Rooms, where you can enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee and a freshly baked scone—an ideal way to round off your visit before returning to port. Whether you’re a nature lover, photographer, or simply seeking tranquility, this experience promises unforgettable moments in one of Northern Ireland’s most scenic landscapes.
Please Note: Wherever Included Experience tours are offered, guests are allowed to participate in only one included experience per call unless otherwise specified in the tour description. Please be sure to book your included experience in advance as space may be limited on your specific choice. The Waterfalls Walk involves uneven terrain, steps, and inclines, and is not wheelchair accessible. Comfortable, sturdy footwear is recommended. Duration of the excursion is approximately 2.5–3 hours, including time for refreshments. Access to the tea room is wheelchair accessible.
