Explore the highlights of Tobermory, taking in the wildlife and scenery while learning about the history of the town and its bay. You'll also take a look at life below the waves.
Set out by boat, keeping an eye out for wildlife such as coves and skerries.
Those game to particpate in hauling up the creels (fish baskets) are welcome to do so. You'll be the first to spot interesting critters in the trap. Your marine biologist guide will introduce you to the day's catch, transferring the good stuff to a viewing tank. After you've learned all about them, these lucky creatures are released unharmed straight back to the sea. Creeling is a very hands-on ancient fishing technique still in practice today.
Complete your outing with a glass of bubbly and a selection of Hebridean island delicacies.
Please note: Terrain includes three steep steps down onto the boat. Dress warmly in layered clothing; outer layer should be windproof and waterproof. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
