Discover the rich and diverse wildlife of the Isle of Mull on this immersive experience led by Andrew, an expert local guide with a degree in Ecology and over 30 years of island living. Traveling in a small group, this flexible tour adapts to the day’s conditions to maximize wildlife sightings.
Keep your eyes peeled for Mull’s famous “Big 3”: majestic White-tailed Eagles, playful Otters, and grazing Red Deer. With luck, you may also spot Porpoises, Minke Whales, and Bottlenose Dolphins in the surrounding waters. Along the way, admire Grey Herons hunting by the lochs, ducks and geese gliding across the water, and listen for the melodic calls of Skylarks and Oystercatchers. This is a rare opportunity to experience Mull’s natural beauty and wildlife in its purest form.
Enjoy tea, coffee, and a light snack during your journey. Binoculars and field maps are provided, though guests are encouraged to bring their own for familiarity.
Please Note: This tour lasts approximately 5 hours and involves minimal walking, only at photo stops and at guests’ discretion. The vehicle is not wheelchair accessible, so the tour is not recommended for wheelchair users. Guests should wear warm, waterproof clothing suitable for the day’s conditions. Toilet stops will be made where possible.
