Your guide meets you at the pier with your bicycle and safety equipment; then, you are off on a bike ride through the amazing city of Tallinn.
Pedal your way through historical Kadriorg Park and stop outside Peter the Great's Summer Palace and the President's Palace.
At Pirita, you'll stop at the Song Festival Grounds where Estonians "sang themselves independent" in the late 1980s. It is quite an astonishing story.
An outdoor exhibit at the Estonian History Museum features old Soviet monuments. Sculptures of Lenin and other Soviet leaders are a stark reminder of the difficult times Estonia endured under Soviet rule.
Follow the coastline to the memorial to the victims of Communism. This 323,000-square-foot memorial was opened in 2018 with the names of more than 22,000 people inscribed on it.
Don't miss beautiful Pirita Beach, whose former Olympic Center was built for the 1980 Summer Olympics.
Pedal back to the city center along the coastline with a panoramic view on Tallinn's marvelous Old Town. You will pause to rest and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at a delightful café housed in an old warehouse.
