Bermuda boasts more than 200 square miles of the Atlantic’s northernmost fringe reef. Although beautiful, the reef is treacherous, and more than 300 shipwrecks bear this out.
On this snorkel adventure, you will visit two of Bermuda’s most famous shipwrecks. The Constellation and the Montana are situated on the very edge of the surrounding reef. They are home to an abundance of coral and fish. En route, the boat captain will tell you about the history of Bermuda and its notorious triangle.
Gear up with a snorkel, mask, fins and a flotation device and listen to a briefing on how you can best enjoy up to an hour of snorkeling at the site.
On the return trip, a Bermuda Rum Swizzle and soft drinks are served; a cash bar is also available.
Please note: Suitable only for confident swimmers who feel comfortable swimming in open water 12 to 25 feet deep. In the event of unsafe offshore conditions, a visit to an inshore shipwreck and inshore reef site will be substituted. Maximum weight is 300 lbs. Minimum age is 10 years. Participants must be able to get in/out of the water via a swim ladder with limited assistance. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
