Depart the port and travel to central Dublin, where you will enjoy a panoramic drive showcasing some of the highlights of this delightful city.
Passing through the downtown core, watch for the Georgian Merrion and Fitzwilliam Squares and the famous Doorways of Dublin.
See the National Gallery of Ireland, the government buildings, and St Stephen's Green. You will also see the Old Parliament House -- now home to the Bank of Ireland -- and, across the road, historic Trinity College. Founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I, it is Ireland's oldest university.
You'll wind past Dublin Castle, City Hall and Christchurch Cathedral en route to visit iconic St Patrick's Cathedral -- the largest cathedral in Ireland. Founded in 1190, St Patrick's is perhaps best known for its association with Jonathan Swift, who was Dean here from 1713 to 1745. The pulpit from which he preached is still in place.
End your tour with a transfer to Dublin Airport .
