Today’s tour is a delightful immersion into natural wonders Down Under where iconic Australian wildlife roam freely. Your destination is Cleland Wildlife Park, nestled in the beautiful natural bushland of the Adelaide Hills. Cleland offers the opportunity to get up close to nature and to interact with Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas and emus. Don’t miss the favorites such as wombats, dingos and numerous reptile species. The park also has a variety of rare and endangered species, where you’ll have interactive encounters and educational experiences and appreciate the country’s diverse and fascinating wildlife.
Afterward you’ll drive through Adelaide, unveiling a cityscape where historic architecture seamlessly blends with modern design. Along the way, you’ll pass the stately colonial buildings along tree-line boulevards, the Botanic Gardens and the Holy Trinity Church. There are delightful views of the city's renowned flower-fringed parks before you pass the grand old Parliament Buildings and nearby Government House on your return to the pier.
Please note:
Koala hold session times and availability are very limited. Due to high demand, sessions are on a first come first served basis, be sure to check times on arrival to avoid disappointment (at your own expense). Also, if the temperature reaches 32 degrees celsius or over, the Koala close ups and experiences will be cancelled as it is too hot for the koalas.
