Spend the morning getting to know the city of Adelaide, a city of elegance and contrasts, where historic architecture blends seamlessly with modern design.
Start today’s tour by travelling along North Terrace – the cultural boulevard of the city – to see its universities, Government House, the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Botanic Gardens and the Adelaide Festival Theatre. Pass St. Peter's Cathedral and enjoy a photo stop at Montefiore Hill, where a statue of Colonel Light watches over the city.
Next, you’ll visit the acclaimed Cleland Wildlife Park, in the Adelaide Hills, to meet Australia's endemic animals – many of which roam free in their natural habitat. Photograph kangaroos, wallabies, emus, dingoes and cockatoos and see iconic koalas up close.
These adventures are followed by a light lunch, which is included at a restaurant perched on the summit of Mt. Lofty, offering a spectacular panorama of Adelaide.
Finally enjoy free time in the heart of Adelaide at Rundle Mall to browse in the shops or visit the famous Haigh's Chocolate Factory (at your own expense) for some locally-made treats.
Please note:Wear comfortable walking shoes. Koala-holding is not available on this tour.
