In the area that Captain George Vancouver claimed for the British Crown in 1791, you'll visit Torndirrup National Park. Walk to a lookout for views of dramatic land formations called the Gap and the Natural Bridge. The Gap drops 78 feet to the raging sea while the Natural Bridge resembles a huge granite bridge spanning the torrent. It's a thrilling vantage point.
A brief city sightseeing drive ends at the Mt Clarence Lookout. From here, take in the views over Princess Royal Harbour, King George Sound and the Albany Wind Farm.
The National ANZAC Centre is a newly-built, multi-million-dollar museum designed to expound the ANZAC legend. Your time here is self-guided -- explore independently, learning all you can about the Australia New Zealand Army Corps. You'll also have time to visit the gift shop.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Terrain is uneven in places.
