This outing offers an air-conditioned panoramic drive through Broome without the need for a lot of walking.
Your driver shares the city's history as you head through the streets of Chinatown -- a bustling community of pearl showrooms, galleries and cafés. Watch for the Sun Picture Theatre -- at 100 years old, it's one of the world's earliest open-air cinemas, and drive past Captain Gregory's House and the Pearl Luggers Museum. The old jail -- the oldest structure in town -- dates back to 1906.
Mangrove Bay, with its picture-perfect green mangroves, white sand and turquoise water is a view that's hard to beat.
Take photos during a brief stop at the Japanese Cemetery -- the final resting place of more than 900 Japanese divers who succumbed to diver's paralysis and drowned. The headstones are crafted out of sandstone rocks.
Pioneer Park overlooks Broome's original jetty used by pearl luggers in the early 20th century. Nearby is Pioneer Cemetery, where many of Broome's early settlers are buried.
