Rich ochres, brilliant turquoise and talcum-powder white -- these are the dramatic colors of the Kimberley that create stark contrasts as you explore from the air on this scenic flight. Welcome to a bird's-eye view of Buccaneer Archipelago and the Dampier Peninsula coastline.
Don't miss one of the greatest wonders of the natural world -- the Horizontal Falls. The 'falls' are formed when tidewater rushes through an 80-foot-wide chasm in the McLarty Ranges. Seawater builds up on one side of the gap as the tide comes in faster than the water can pass through, creating a waterfall up to 30 feet tall on a spring tide. The direction of the falls reverse with the tide, creating incredible whirlpools that suck in everything around them.
You'll land near the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm for a delightful lunch at Cygnet Bay Restaurant.
