Discover Kangaroo Island from a unique perspective – on the water. A brief transfer takes you to the starting point for your wildlife safari cruise. On the way, pause for great views over Penneshaw.
At Christmas Cove, board a RIB (rigid inflatable boat). You will tour the coastline of Kangaroo Island, visiting Dolphin Cove, Cuttlefish Bay, Kangaroo Head and Snapper Point. Watch for pods of bottlenose and common dolphins, playing happily in their natural environment or swimming up alongside the boat. Colonies of New Zealand fur seals and Australian sea lions inhabit the coast of Kangaroo Island, gathering along the rocks enjoying the warm sun.
An impressive variety of sea birds may include the unforgettable mighty sea eagle, osprey and wedge-tailed eagle.
A quick transfer will return you to the pier after your adventure.
Please note:
The vessel is open-air. In some windy conditions, you will feel sea spray. It is essential that you wear warm, layered clothing in order to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion. Outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. Bring gloves, a warm hat and a scarf. Not suitable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Wildlife sightings, whilst likely, are not guaranteed.
