Enjoy a scenic drive straight to the North Coast, for a beach walk at the secret beach, Stokes Bay, and to enjoy the spectacular northern coastline. Your guides know the best places to find the native wildlife, keeping an eye out for the Tammar Wallaby, the Kangaroo Island Kangaroo – unique to Kangaroo Island, and Koalas.
From here head to your lunch site, in an historic refurbished shearing shed on a working farm, one of the original Soldier Settler Farms, to be greeted by our Chef who has been busy preparing a gourmet lunch showcasing the best of Kangaroo Island Produce, accompanied by premium Kangaroo Island wine. Hear from your guides the story behind the produce, providing you with a connection to this special Island and its producers.
After lunch, your guides will take you to Seal Bay, for a guided beach walk with the endangered Australian Sea Lion – considered one of the worlds most nature immersive experience, this is a truly special experience. Considered the "dogs of the sea", enjoy the opportunity to observe these special animals in their home, as you hear from our guides.
From here, head back towards Penneshaw, with a brief stop at Pennington Bay (time permitting).
