A panoramic drive traverses Perth's sleek suburbs en route to the lush Swan Valley, renowned for its historical houses and award-winning wineries.
Pause at the cellar of Sandalford Wines to enjoy a wine tasting of the Estate's vintages. The wonderful views stretching into the distance include row upon row of perfectly cultivated vines.
Nearby Caversham Wildlife Park offers a complete bush experience. You will have free time to meander about the park, enjoying the wide range of wildlife endemic to Australia -- emus, kookaburras, dingos and crocodiles, among many others. Walk through the kangaroo enclosure to meet and perhaps feed the friendly kangaroos and wallabies, or have your photograph taken with one of the cuddly koalas (at your own expense). A daily show introduces visitors to the wombat and a variety of other friendly, albeit unusual, Australian animals.
Please note:
Tour requires some walking at your discretion. Terrain includes flat, paved and unpaved paths. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Minimum age is 18 years. Tour does not operate on Mondays or Fridays.
