Day 1 (L/D)
An air-conditioned coach transfer takes you to Zanzibar Airport for a flight to Masai Mara Via Nairobi. You'll fly west past Africa's tallest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro, and over the Great Rift Valley which runs from Kenya to Jordan. Your destination is Kenya's premier game reserve -- the famous Maasai Mara Reserve. Here, in the never-ending circle of life, large herds of plains game, such as hartebeest, wildebeest, buffalo, warthogs and gazelles, are pursued by predators, including include lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. Hundreds of elephants, hippos and crocodiles complete this magical scene. Maasai Mara has often been described as the eighth wonder of the world.
Upon arrival at the Airstrip, transfer to the camp with a short game viewing drive en route. Check in and sit down to lunch. Feel free to relax around the pool afterwards. Afternoon tea, cookies, cakes and sandwiches are also served.
In late the afternoon, set out on a game drive within the Mara North Conservancy Area, returning to the camp in the late evening in time for dinner.

Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives to search for the many, many species of game that make this reserve their home.
You can also participate in extra activities including Balloon ride, Visit to a local school, Masai Village Visit all at an extra cost.
Day 4 (B)
Early morning game drive, return to the camp for breakfast then transfer to the airstrip.
Your flight from the Masai Mara will take you to Julius Nyerere Airport in Dare Salam where you will be met by our team and transferred to the ship at the pier
Cancellations:
Due to the popularity of this tour and strict booking conditions, this tour has a 90-day cancellation. Any cancellations made within 90 days of arrival into Zanzibar will be charged the full amount of this tour. This will include if a guest cancels their voyage within 90 days of arrival into Zanzibar, guests will be charged the full amount of the tour.
Please note:
Bring sturdy non-skid walking shoes. The contents and order of activities in this program are subject to change by the lodge management without prior notice due to the prevailing weather conditions and wildlife movement on the reserve. Early morning game drives in open vehicles can be a little cool -- bring a windbreaker. During the day, temperatures can be extremely hot. The game drive vehicle may not be covered. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Ride will be bumpy. Guests with back or neck conditions are not allowed to participate. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Participants are not permitted to use cell phones during the game drives or to speak loudly or stand up in the game drive vehicle, as this will disturb the animals. Smoking is not permitted. An escort from the ship's staff may or may not also accompany the group. You must book this overland PRIOR to sailing. Tour operates subject to meeting a minimum number of participants. Airport assistance and transfers, transportation by air-conditioned coach, all entrance fees indicated in the itinerary, an English-speaking guide (unless otherwise noted), water on the vehicle, and meals (as indicated) are also included.
