Seabourn Journey - Serengeti Plains

The Serengeti is arguably the most famous National Park in the world and it defines the modern safari experience. The park was established in 1951 and covers an area of almost 5,850 square miles.

The park hosts a fantastically diverse eco-system -- each part with its own resident variations of African wildlife. The primary attraction is the wildebeest migration -- an entourage of 1½ million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra, gazelle and other plains game that follow close behind. This brings the inevitable predators who make the most of the moveable feast being close at hand.

This Seabourn Journey is part of our 2024 Grand Africa Voyage. Contact Seabourn Reservations to book.

Day 1
Leave the port and transfer to Zanzibar International Airport. Connect with a charter flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti.

The Four Seasons Lodge is nestled within Serengeti National Park and offers spectacular views of wildlife roaming over miles of bush and an active watering hole.
