Fall in love with Sydney’s Inner West as you taste your way through its multicultural, gourmet eateries. Once home to the city’s working class, the Inner West has developed into an eclectic neighborhood with a thriving food scene reflecting Asia and the Mediterranean.
Grab a coffee from a favorite local barista and stroll Marrickville’s main street. Samples vary daily, but you may taste Banh Mi (pork roll) or visit an iconic family-run deli producing burrata, bocconcini, ricotta, and other house-made cheeses along with Australian olives and meats (including kangaroo salami).
The Inner West is full of craft breweries; enjoy a cold beer or a retro Chinese-Australian restaurant inside a brewery dedicated to a charismatic former Prime Minister, Bob Hawke.
