Explore the secret chambers and hidden rooms deep inside Trondheim’s magnificent Nidaros Cathedral. Inside the beautiful church, you will admire the impressive Gothic and Romanesque architecture with its slender pillars, lofty vaults and delicate ornaments.
In the basement, you will walk through the dark passages of the crypt and discover the largest collection of medieval tombstones in Norway. A steep, winding staircase leads us closer to divinity as we climb up and into small, enchanting chapels dating from the 12th century.
Please note: It is recommended that guests dress in warm, layered clothing and wear flat, comfortable walking shoes. This tour is not recommended for guests concerned with darkness and enclosed spaces. Participants must be able to climb 25 steep steps. Comfort stop available at Nidaros Cathedral.
