Begin your tour driving to the city of Santo Domingo and discover Tricao Park. This park has an extension of more than 120 hectares, where you can appreciate the rescue of the native forest of the coastal creeks of the central zone of Chile and the imposing dam that is shaping the bottom of the streams, tracing the silhouette of the park, where you can admire the recovery of wetlands and original fauna of the area.
Upon the arrival to Tricao Park, we will visit the Aviary, which has about 2 hectares surrounded by a mesh specially designed for its operation, it is one of the largest aviaries in the world.
In this place, you can walk through trails, viewpoints and also a suspension bridges where you can find and learn from the more than 700 free birds. The aviary place houses a variety of species such as the Mandarin Duck, Carolino Duck, Silver Pheasant, Revered Pheasant, Rainbow Parrots, Borneo Parrots, Eclectus Parrots, and different types of Turacaos.
A brief stop will be given for a light snack, before proceeding to the Giverny Wetland.
On Giverny Wetland, you will find endless colors and shapes that will awake all your senses. The wetland is inspired by the gardens of Giverny that Claude Monet portrayed in France, this space offers relaxation and connection with nature. Water and vegetation are the protagonists in a wetland that harbors the flora and fauna that give life to the floating paths and bridges that cross, not only the ravine, but also the pools and waterfalls that make this an aquatic walk a panorama unforgettable where learning and rest merge in one place.
After the experience, return to the vehicle to get back San Antonio to re board the ship.
