Sample some of Dubai's historic sites and vibrant cosmopolitan life on this comprehensive tour.
Drive along Sheikh Zayed Boulevard, the longest road in the U.A.E., stretching from the city of Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah and running roughly parallel to the coastline along the Persian Gulf.
Take advantage of a short photo stop at the famous Burj Al Arab -- a hotel designed to resemble a billowing sail -- dominating the Dubai coastline.
The tour continues with a photo stop at the Jumeirah Mosque, built in the medieval Fatimid tradition and a tribute to modern Islamic architecture.
You will visit the Dubai's heritage district at Shindagha - the birthplace of Dubai’s ruling family where the Shindagha Museum perfectly encapsulates the unique history of its people. The fully renovated district is home to 21 mini museums that have transformed the area into a center for developing connections with the Emiratis using innovating and engaging technology.
Your visit includes the delightful Perfume House, former home of Shaikha Shaikha Al Maktoum, a well-known perfumer of yesteryears and aunt to Dubai’s current ruler.
Next, cross the Dubai Creek (really a river) for a visit to the enticing spice souk (market), where many aromas will captivate you.
Before returning to the port, enjoy some free time to browse in the Deira gold souk -- easily the most visually dazzling landmark of Dubai.
