Experience Guayaquil from a fresh and elevated perspective aboard the Aerovía, the city’s innovative aerial cable car system. This eco-friendly initiative was designed to reduce carbon emissions while offering a fast and scenic mode of transportation across the city.
Your adventure begins with a comfortable transfer from the port to Centenario Park, located in the heart of Guayaquil. Upon arrival at the Aerovía station, you’ll board a sleek, glass-enclosed gondola. As the cable car gently lifts off, enjoy a smooth ride above the city’s bustling streets. From this unique vantage point, take in panoramic views of Guayaquil’s skyline, the winding Guayas River, and the colorful neighborhoods below. The aerial journey offers a stunning overview of the city’s architectural diversity, green spaces, and vibrant urban life.
After disembarking, enjoy a brief walk along Panama Street, one of downtown Guayaquil’s most historic avenues. Your next stop is the Cacao Museum, where you’ll explore the rich legacy of cacao in Ecuador. Once revered by ancient civilizations such as the Maya and Aztecs, cacao remains a culturally significant crop. Through engaging exhibits, learn about its role in Ecuadorian traditions, festivals, and cuisine, as well as its importance to local farming communities.
Next, treat your palate at La Bodeguita, the wine cellar of Dos Hemisferios, Ecuador’s premier winery. Here, enjoy a curated wine pairing featuring locally produced wines, each crafted from grapes grown in Ecuador’s unique climate. Paired with light snacks, this tasting offers a refined glimpse into the country’s emerging winemaking scene and showcases the artistry behind each bottle.
As the experience concludes, board your motorcoach for a relaxing return to the port, enriched by the flavors, sights, and stories of Guayaquil’s elevated adventure.
