Begin your adventure directly from the cruise port in Puerto Madryn. After greeting your guide, you’ll transfer to El Pozo Beach, just 8 miles south of the city, where a brief safety and equipment introduction prepares you for the experience. Once on the water, you’ll glide along scenic beaches and cliffs that frame the stunning Golfo Nuevo. After roughly 30 minutes of paddling, you’ll reach the Punta Loma Protected Natural Area, home to a permanent colony of South American sea lions. From a safe distance, you’ll observe and interpret their natural behavior in a calm, respectful way. You may also spot coastal birds such as cormorants, gulls, terns, and petrels. After returning to shore, enjoy a relaxing moment by the water with a snack and a selection of hot and cold beverages, taking in the peaceful Patagonian landscape before heading back to the port.
