Cockburn Channel

The Cockburn Channel is a 40-mile long passage between the westernmost Brednock Peninsula of Isla Grande del Tierra del Fuego and a cluster of lesser islands in extreme southern Chile. It is an important part of the major waterway connecting the Beagle Channel from the open Pacific Ocean into the Magdalena Channel and thus to the Strait of Magellan.
