Scenic Cruising Polar Icecap

The Polar Icecap is an expanse of frozen sea ice encircling the northern portion of the earth. Its edges consist of floating pack ice. The extent of the ice pack varies seasonally. In the boreal summer, ships are able to cautiously approach the edge of the ice pack and give guests a glimpse of the frozen ice-scape stretching as far as the eye can see. The pack ice is occupied by polar bears, seals and walruses, and is constantly in motion, adrift on the Arctic Ocean expanse underneath.
