Be sure to be on deck as your captain skillfully threads this narrow, 260-foot wide dogleg passage between sheer rock walls near Puerto Natales in southern Chile. This must be done in daylight and at slack water, and it affords you a great opportunity to scan the rock slopes for wildlife, the skies for Andean condors or other birds, and the water for seals or dolphins. It’s an exciting maneuver and one that will have the ship’s guests buzzing.
