Ulvik, Norway

Your ship proceeds deep into the northeastern arms of the long Hardangerfjord, threading between peaks that loom nearly 6,000 feet above the waters and cradle the Hardanger glacier in their heights. In the Ulviksfjord, hardy little farms cling to the slopes like children’s toys. Ulvik’s white wooden village church was built in 1859.  In the peaks above, Finse is the highest station on the national Bergensbanen railway, at over 4,000 feet. This morning, your Ventures by Seabourn team will offer optional kayaking and Zodiac excursions into the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding Ulviksfjord and Osafjord waterways.
