Dr. Nafsika Papacharalampous

Nafsika Papacharalampous is a postdoctoral research associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) Food Studies Centre at the University of London. She received her PhD in the Anthropology of Food from SOAS, as well. She researched Greek cuisine and traditional foods and markets, focusing on national and class identity, memory and the Greek crisis.
 

Nafsika is also a chef and consultant for artisan food companies, restaurants and food organizations sharing her expertise on Greek food. She holds an MA in the Anthropology of Food from SOAS, and an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
