Ride by comfortable air-conditioned coach past a variety of landscapes, including mango and watermelon farms, lush forests and mountain views. You're headed towards the highlands of Alajuela Province, where the San Miguel hacienda is located.
Rancho San Miguel is a school of high equestrian arts, and has been exhibiting horse fiestas for more than 30 years. It is famous throughout the Americas for its pure breed of Andalusian horses. At the ranch, a local expert will greet you. (S)he has a vast knowledge in this field and will introduce you the equine world of mares and stallions.
The horse show you will watch combines dressage training of the magnificent Andalusian horses with the masterful ability of the riders -- a group of young, talented, amazonian women whose skills requires months of grueling teamwork, training and discipline. You will be enthralled. Enjoy the sound of the Spanish flamenco music in the spectacular amphitheatre environment.
Enjoy a delicious lunch; then, continue to El Jardín. A delicious tropical fruit buffet, a cup of deliciously fresh coffee and some souvenir-based retail therapy await you here.
